I made a Deus Ex total conversion about ten years ago where you play a homeless socialist hacktivist trying not to get drone-striked in downtown San Fran outside of barbwire-walled billionaire enclaves or caught by the AI-automated robot police and thrown in the smartphone sweatshop. 60% AI/automation unemployment rate and global subprime meltdown redux.

I streamed some of Terminus Machina tomorrow in honor of it being about five minutes from reality!

One of the recent reviews:

"I love this game. I freaking love it. The voice acting is pretty good for a one-person dev team with some help from some friends and family (maybe a couple hire-ons I've no idea) to do voice acting. This guy drew *everything* and it's quite charming and detailed art. I spent a long time staring at every screen looking for small details and references, and they never disappointed. The music is fun, the script is phenomenal, and the philosophy is excellent.

Buy this game. Then give $45 dollars (filling out a $60 price tag) to Christian Miller because he obviously worked his ♥♥♥ off to make this wonderful piece of art. Then go work in a soup kitchen or do something else positive to affect the real world you live in in a way that matters. Things aren't simple, but we've all got to support each other in real ways. Playing this game is not at all a bad way to give your brain some fuel for how to think about doing this. This game was made because a community of people helped a person express himself, and worked together. How things should be for a workable and healthy society.

Thanks Christian Miller+cast+support, this is a wonderful game. I am very much looking forward to Neofeud 2!"

Like I said on Twitter - blunt but hard-hitting stuff. Really like it :)
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

This is also, interestingly, true of history, in many ways :)

"Neofeud is a hidden landmark title for the cyberpunk genre and spin-off of Terminus Machina. Dark, but hopeful. Funny, but also tragic. Stylish, but also has a lot of depth. Neofeud has become an inspirational game in my own creative work. !"

Currently in some not-so-good financial straits (not sure where we're going to live after July 31) so every sale of Neofeud goes to keeping a roof over myself, my wife and kids head while trying to finish Neofeud 2!

Thanks a lot!
