Quite cool! I wish I knew about those characters though... what do you use for drawing? Is that actually a pen?

Thanks !  :)
I've used anything I could lay my hands on during school classes actually... These two were graphite pen (outlines & shading) & marker pen.
I didn't know much about shading back then, though.

Quite good mon freir. I shall try to upload a bit of my own art sometime. Is that top picture a khorne beastman?

Ps- thanks jubal.

Thanks !
Yeah, it's some kind of Khornegor, I guess...  ;)
I'd like to see some of your work... It's probably million times better than mine...  ;D

The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Silver Wolf

Maybe... I'll enter if somebody starts one but don't expect much. It's been so long since the last time I've drawn something...

Argh, Khan your getting slack with your necroposting :P

Do you guys use Photobucket to upload your stuff onto?

debux

I use minus, got used to it. Pretty darn easy to use, and doesn't have all the crap advertisement that some are filled with (from what I remember)

Got some inspiration after watching Angel - "Not fade away".

QuoteJoss Whedon says of this episode, "This was not the final grace note after a symphony, the way the Buffy finale was.
We are definitely still in the thick of it. But the point of the show is that you're never done; no matter who goes down, the fight goes on."
Whedon says that Angel is about redemption, "something you fight for every day, so I wanted him to go out fighting.
People kept calling it a cliffhanger. I was like, 'Are you mad, sir? Don't you see that that is the final statement?'"

Pencil on paper, as you can see.  ;)
I made it during one of my classes. It's still not completely finished, but I doubt that I'll return to do the finishing touches any time soon.
It didn't turn out to be the way I imagined it to be.

Anyway, it looks as if skills are slowly improving.
If only I had more time for this...

Now that is impressive, Wolfman! :)

Cuddly Khan

I'm jealous of your skill. -_- I love the drawing though.

He is Jubal the modder, Jubal the wayfarer, Jubal the admin. And he has come to me now, at the turning of the tide.

Scarlet

Very impressive :) That is some serious skill.

At risk of sounding like a broken record, triumph points? :P

I usually don't like to show my unfinished drawings, but right now I don't feel like finishing this one.
It's very far from being finished actually, and the main problem is that I made on an A4 paper (rotated horizontally).
Due to that, drawing the face was very frustrating (it's really, really small).

It' a bit sharper than the last one.
Which style should I pursue?

Jubal

I suspect the less sharp one is easier to get looking right, sharp work is always harder to make effective. I do like both a lot though, very effective.

Also -> enter the site contest <- (please  :) )
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Silver Wolf

@ Jubal: About of the same. The first one is more forgiving, the second one is more effective, I think.
Site contest? Did I miss something?

@CG: Oh, you recognized? I like recognizing stuff. Recognizing is good. :D
Or is it because of the name?

Silver Wolf

Oh, that. :D

Never noticed it, I'm afraid.
I'd give it a try, but unfortunately I don't have my old acrylic paints anymore.
And making pencil sketches of landscapes is incredibly time consuming and unrewarding.  :-\

I'll see what I can do.
