Starting something new on the heels of the this year's Coding Medieval Worlds. Leaning on my experience as an academic historian and a long history of playing and homebrewing ttrpgs, I've gone and done a silly thing and started a YouTube channel to create videos with tips and insights to help players and GMs better-integrate history into their games in a (I hope) totally non-prescriptive way. It's early days, and content at this point is largely focussed on my specialist area of the Viking Age to accommodate a pretty hectic work schedule, but we plan to tackle a variety of topics and periods, on-location tours of historical sites, and a number of interviews. I've got lot's to learn and a long way to go, but very open to feedback, suggestions for things to cover, and any support from you lovely people. Thanks!
