On Masto,
Dr. Kirsten Dwiza was posting about the Homoromanteion, which I'd not come across before so I thought I'd share it here. It's essentially an ancient magic/divination scroll, but it seems to work according to a 3d6 dice table and gives you an appropriate passage of Homer for answering your query. Which feels amusingly modern, in that it's basically an aphorisms/inspirational quotes randomiser.

There is, doubly enjoyably, a fully online version complete with translation that someone made back in 2016, available at
http://www.homeromanteion.com/May it tell you some useful fortunes!
