Hi all!

We're Random Potion, and we're developing an adventure RPG called Ignis Universia: Spa of Destiny!

First off, here's the trailer:

Ignis Universia: Spa of Destiny is a story-driven game with RPG elements about four ladies called the Chosen Sisters (no blood relation) who, somewhat reluctantly, join on an adventure with the Null Brother to save the world from the Dread Wizardess Galgatax or whoever looms perilously this time. It's chock-full of snarky dialogue, fourth-wall-devastating quips and witty banter between the Sisters, their often exasperated mentor and whatever cute animals they happen to kidn-- make friends with along the way.

You can download the demo from the Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1545500/Ignis_Universia_Spa_of_Destiny/

Long story (if you've got time)

First of all, thank you for reading this far! Ok, so the game is actually a sequel (but perfectly fine on its own too) to a Ludum Dare game from 2019 called Ignis Universia: Eternal Sisters Saga (link to original build on Itch). After our company's first game bombed in 2020, we were looking for a new project and even a year after its original release, people were still pretty actively playing Ignis Universia. Could it have potential to be something larger than a throwaway jam game? We made an extended version (~1hr playtime) and released it for free on Steam and went on to work on a sequel.

Spa of Destiny was originally called Awakening of the Erudite Empress (a mouthful, huh?) and successfully Kickstarter 2022. Then life (and burnout) happened and the game went into hiatus for over a year as I struggled to make the story work. Then, in early 2024 things started to click as I realised that it was completely ok to change the game's name and not get too hung up on decisions made early in the development. It wasn't like the Erudite Empress was exactly a major selling point.

Fast forward to now and the game has been progressing in strides and steadily galloping like an undead unicorn towards completion! Right now, it's part of Steam's Turn-Based RPG Fest, too!

Thanks for reading,
