There are just two buildings which don't work, both the specific buildings for Araby (Carthage). No idea why, but both mess up the game severely.
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

I'm hoping to get some work done sometime soon, it's slow progress though due to the whole real life thing we suffer from.
