The SPIDERS happily give you a list of DIRECTIONS they can think of, including WEST, SOUTH, and NORTH-NORTH-EAST. As you didn't ask them what was IN those directions this isn't necessarily helpful, but those are definitely confirmed as being under the category of DIRECTIONS.
