The SPIDERS tap a message that according to the great SPIDER PHILOSOPHER, ARACHNE, at this time of year, going SOUTH is always a good idea. There are apparently NUTRITIOUS BEETLES in that direction. They also suggest that one should always pay attention to what one's MOTHER says. (It turns out that the PHILOSOPHY of a species of PREDATORY SPIDER is a somewhat PRACTICAL affair, the spiders never having been exposed to the SOCRATIC METHOD or PLATO or any of that stuff).
