Another recent Gingertail cover - I actually quite like listening to good lyrical music where I don't understand the lyrics, it makes for better background when working :)

The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Today is a lot of business development stuff, so I like to balance that sort of thing with a nice calming soundtrack :-)

( The awesome thing with the quake cd is that you could stick it in a cd player and just listen to the music, it was quite mindblowing as a child :-) )

Having a binge on Carolina Eyck's stuff, which is great:

The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

We think any of the armadillo we're living means anything? It's been done before! And it meant something then!

Heidi Talbot's Bedlam Boys is excellent:

The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Stumbled onto this artist - Positively Dark. There's so many flowing beats and melodies I just get lost in each one of their songs. They remind me of classic game background music, a la Donkey Kong or Command & Conquer.

Love the Positively Dark song, will definitely check them out

Happy disco Friday everyone! This is a certified banger

The Mongol folk metal you didn't know you needed today.
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Glaurung

This is an odd one for me: a piece of classical music - Erik Satie's Gnossienne number 1. It's haunted me for nearly 40 years, since it was the intro music to a now little-known James Burke documentary series on the BBC, "The Real Thing". Today, by a combination of serendipity and modern technology, I finally found out what it was.

I'm sure I've posted the Fiechters' albums before, but they're very good background noise:

The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Here's a catchy goth rock song

I think the singer is behaving in a very un-gothlike fashion here; having fun and splashing around in the water.
