I hope a newbie question is OK here. In the member details in posts, there's a row of 1 to 5 coloured squares between the member's title and avatar. They're mostly yellow, sometimes orange and occasionally green. What do they mean?

I've always wondered this too actually. I would guess it's something related to their admin powers on the thread/board/site, but I'm not actually sure.

Yes, it's supposed to represent respective power levels and functions depending on the board they are using. It's nothing important.

I don't really like them anyway. IMO we should replace them with banners of the rank.

What banners would be required? Megadux, Technikos, Basileus, Sebastokrator, Spatharios, Tribounos, Logothetes, Board moderator (e.g. for mod boards). Is this a full list?

I'd leave off board moderator.

But also include the Hekatontarchoi, Megas Domestikos, Patrikios, and Citizen

Something else I've just spotted: the Grand Tribunal board is listed with its moderators being Pentagathus and Scarlet - but if I've understood the constitution and latest election results correctly, the moderators of that board should be Armadillo and Tom, the current Tribounoi.
