I was in the perfect place to avoid it, them followed part of it online. I will admit, I am a sucker for a bit of pomp and circumstance. We know how to do a good parade.

But yeah, in the end, it is pretty trivial. The same happened during Di and Charles' wedding, it's not unknown.

A friend of mine told me, "at least you're not in Iraq". I told him "you're right, I'm not, which means I have the luxury of worrying about more trivial things."

Myself I was enjoying the night out at South Bank, which is considered a tourist attraction down here.  Apparently the wedding itself only went for about an hour.  Is that right, cause I would have expected longer than that.  

Oh and NightAngel, not sure what I would have guessed, but certainly not Scottish.
