Its an adventure/survival horror game. You wake up in a room in a semi-ruined castle, with no memory of why you are there. you find a not from yourself outlining what you need to do, and as you progress through the game the backstory is revealed to you. Also you have no means to defend yourself, but fleeing and hiding in the dark.
