CN2 was wondering down the street, investigating someone, the identity of whom he could not share for his fear of a traitor in the midst of the mercenaries. As he walked down the street, his hand ran unobtrusively along the length of his blade, testing the edge. He had a feeling he would need to use it tonight.

A sharp crack echoed in the shadows behind him. Swiftly turning around, CN2 raised his sword to ward off any attack. He felt the satisfying jolt as his blade bit into something, which turned to fear as he realised the presence of the sword at his throat. Peering closely into the darkness CN2 recognised the face of Doomchild, one of the other hirelings. Still wary of each other, their impasse continued until a slight scuffing noise emanated from inside one of the dwellings along the street. Together they turned, smashing a window to reveal a belligerent NightAngel. Suspicion ran rampant between all three and but while NightAngel and Doomchild were conversing with each other, presumably testing each other's identity, their gaze was distracted from CN2 who was quickly dragged away and disappeared into the night.

The horror and sheer pain involved in the butchery of CN2 cannot be expressed here for LordRyan might read this and as a 14 year old, he may be too young to view such records. At any rate, CN2's story ended this night in much pain and blood.

The next morning arrived and the hirelings and the Chancellor arrived once again in the structurally unsound hall. "Where is CN2?" Chancellor Phoenix asked. "It is strange sir, but he was just carried off into the night," Doomchild responded.  The party set out and eventually found the remains of the mangled CN2 stuffed in three biscuit tins. The sheer brutality left no doubt in any mind that CN2 must have been a loyal mercenary.

It is now Day 3. Time to discuss amongst yourselves again who's the culprit.
Day 3 will conclude on the 3rd of September at 9am GMT.

May I remind you that only you and Doomchild voted against CN2 during the last day?

People of Wibblunia! Either Comrade and Doomchild are demons OR the demons are trying to manipulate  the public opinion against them, since they are suspects and as a result, easy targets... well the case sounds hard, anyway...  :P  ::)  ???  :o
