naval warfare

this is probably the one thing that I am most exited about, the current naval "battles" (auto resolve) have been the only thing I have not liked about the Total Wars (except shogun which had no ships) because they often end in me getting my ass handed to me even though I should of had the advantage, and my only major source of battle loss on the summary sheet.

What do you guys think of them?

I think they will either be incredible or pathetic. The level of detail with all the soldiers might put to much of a strain on systems and using ships effectively could also be very annoying. However perhaps CA will come up with a way of allowing ETW to run on average computers and then naval could be incredible.

lol even if it is a bit hard on my laptop Im still getting it, my old laptop could (just) play Rome if all the graphics sliders where minimum
