Fitzroy is Latin for son of the king. Hence why Henry VIII's bastard son was called Henry Fitzroy.

I always have a strong urge to call you it, Fitz.

Is this going anywhere?
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Well CaesarVincens from RTWH was supposedly making the base map for me, but I haven't heard anything from him. And tbh recently I've been busy with the AoMH Silver Trident competition.

Finally some progress lol.

Many thanks to SrJames for his gift to this mod, a new officer, seen here leading Iceni Guards to battle.

Texture and model by SrJamesTyrrel

Thanks also go to Andalus and Private Clark for letting me use the Gallic Cavalry model and texture from AUP in this mod. I have yet to put them ingame yet though, thats tomorrow's job :).

A bit of topic but I think you may be wrong there. Becuase the latin for king is rex (filius could be the fi part but where the :)                                                       does the roy come from?)
t' mod looks good, is there any progress on the map?

Well French for King is Roi, so I'm guessing somewhere similar to that. The Fitz part is the "Son of" bit.

In fact it would be truer to say that Fitzroy is old french for son of the king.
