Wow, nice mod! Will download and play when you have a release with the campaign in. Been looking for an excuse to dive back into RTW again. :)

speaking about slow but steady progress o mapping

comrade_general

Looking good. Just remember there are a limited number of settlements you can add, so try to prioritize the provinces you need and spread them evenly over the map so's not to have overly condensed regional sectors. (now if only I followed my own advice)

Spike

btw, comrade, why the map goes on CTD if I put the city at the coast? I meant I tried to put tyre, but it always failed

Son of the King

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure you can't have coastal cities.

comrade_general

Yeah just keep it at least one pixel in. You can put the port right next to it then so it looks like one big complex.

Spike

sometimes, I wonder why if I add more than one region at a time, I got a message-less CTD?

oh, here's the latest map so far

comrade_general

Sometimes you might choose a color that the game just doesn't like. I've even had it not like colors that were identical to other map_region files.

Spike

ugh..... colours that the game doesn't like? wow, that explains everything...

is you have a list on colours I should avoid for regions?

many thanks Comrade

comrade_general

No I don't think such a list exists. What I usually do is use another map, such as Mundus Magnus or even vanilla, and use the same colors for my regions.

Looking good! Do you do your modelling or do you have someone else to?
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...
