Rules

Each group will play a best of 3 contest against the other group members (Therefore 9 matches in total per group), until 1 player has won more than the other two. 1 player from each group will proceed to the finals where the final 3 fighters will repeat the process to determine a 1st place winner. The losing two will then do a best of 3 playoff to determine 2nd and 3rd.

Grand Melee

9 players total. 3 rounds will be played, with points allocated. Last man standing gets 30 points, second last gets 20, third last gets 10. At the end of the 3 rounds whoever has the most points wins. In event of a draw, with more than 1 person having the most points, a smaller set of rounds will be replayed with those with the most points.

Rules

The game will be played in 3 rounds, each round consisting of 3 battles. The team that wins 2 of 3 battles will win the round. The team that wins 2 of 3 rounds will win the tournament. Each round will be played on a different map.

Upon conclusion of this round of battles, each team will divide into 2 teams of 2, meaning there will be a total of 4 teams of 2. The two teams coming from the victorious 4-man team will compete for 1st and 2nd place. The 2 two teams coming from the losing 4-man team will compete for 3rd and 4th place.

EVENT TIMETABLE

I will be away from my home PC until friday night, and my laptop is unlikely to run Warband. I will try, though. I intend to run these events from friday evening forwards. Please PM me any restrictions you have.

Ideally I would like to do this on friday, saturday or sunday evenings BST (UK time). Anywhere from 7pm (UK) onwards, to base yourselves on. Please PM me your availability for those time slots this weekend. The sooner the better.

Weekday evenings BST (7 onwards) can work as well if you absolutely cannot make any weekend date. PM me any weekday evening restrictions also.

Just a reminder the tournament is 7PM BST tonight.

Server is Exilian_Competition and the password is TWC.

TS is 81.88.24.173, at 7 I will make a channel called "Exilian M&B", with the password also twc. Join it to start so we can organise, teams can split off into their own channels (You can make them for free) for team matches.

My hope is to do the Grand Melee first, as it will be the fastest event: 3 rounds last man standing.

1v1 tournament will follow, which should also be fairly quick as we can run all 3 groups side by side and then spectate the finals round.

Finally the team tournament, which will take longest, will be played out.

Note that the groups and such I posted in the forums may be subject to change if some people fail to show up. I will try to balance it out to be as fair as possible with the numbers we get.
