Okay, since not all of us are Christian or other, I think we should come up with some viable alternatives that we can use on a daily basis and possibly spread throughout the known world. This is a serious discussion!
One alternative that Jubal came up with is "Oh my llama!" as opposed to "Oh my god!". Of course "god" here can mean any god, but still, llama is better.
It is also possible to use "Oh your god!" as used by Bender in Futurama.

I also like Spongebob's "Aw barnacles!" when something doesn't go right, as opposed to "Oh <bloody> hell!". "Fish paste!" is also a good one.
