The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

On that topic, how many are there?

What, resource types?

Yeah, we'll need to brainstorm some ideas?

From memory:

- Silver, gold (you can build mines on these and no others)
- Camels, Elephants, Dogs, Pigs (think these can only be used for unit training)
- Slaves (Only appears when you invade a province, runs out after a while)

"Proper" trade resources:
- Amber
- Marble
- Tin
- Iron
- Copper
- Lead
- Grain
- Timber
- Pottery
- Textiles
- Wine
- Olive Oil
- Hides
- Incense
- Silk
- Glass
- Purple dye
- Wild animals

I admit to not being sure that we have the means to change the map icons, so we'll need to be smart about any major renaming that goes on.

Preliminary thoughts: glass looks like a beaker, could be chemicals? Books should definitely be a possible resource. Not sure what else...

Having slaves in sounds a little inappropriate. Maybe rename them to "captive students",or something like that?

Or forced interns maybe?

Perhaps we should set up a seperate thread for this too

Oh that's a cool function...!

Your suggestions seem sensible, are we sure there's no way to mod the image?

I don't "think" we can mod the image, possible we can re-colour it.

Just a suggestion, but could you change the resources to something more education based, like research materials or stationery? Might be a bit hard if remodelling isn't allowed though :/

I like this idea, we could potentially do a mixture of the 2?

As far as I can see, it will be entirely possible to remodel the resources, and add new ones maybe (although there is probably some hardcoded limit to that).
