To save telling everyone individually - I am going to start doing an MRes at the University of Birmingham later this month, I got my official offer through today. There will be a big city, there will be a James, there will be Byzantines and Trapezuntines and Georgians, there will be Exilian, there will be radical liberalism, there will be storytelling, there will almost certainly be dwarves who may or may not be excavating pits and singing about it. There will probably not be a guanaco but I make no promises on that front.  :)

Currently waist deep in auto repair. Replacing my bimmers front and rear shocks and springs, control arms, sway bar links, and tie rods. This amounts to necessary repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
