Okay, these are things that ideally need doing to make this mod as awesome as it should be. If anyone wants to volunteer for any of them, you will have my unending gratitude. I'll even put you ingame as a special mercenary or something. It'll be fun, maybe, promise-ish?

Building Descriptions (Writing: No Experience Needed!)
This is the easy one, but will take time: sorting out the building descriptions file and rewriting all the descriptions to be relevant to a space age society. Also the most necessary.

User Interface (2d Graphics, experience preferable)
This is the job of giving the whole interface an overhaul and making it nice and space age rather than Roman era. Pretty much just editing a few graphics files, but it can be pernickety to make it look good.

Traits & Ancillaries (Coding/Writing: Relatively Easy)
Obviously all the traits/ancilliaries are appropriate to the Roman era and need an update - this is the job of doing just that. The coding will take a bit of briefing but shouldn't be too difficult.
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

comrade_general

I might do the interface. In ten thousand years. :o

TTG4

Is there somewhere to look at how to code the traits/ancillaries? I'm tempted to learn how to do it as a realtively easy start! Though I'll probably be slow because finals

Tom

If you can't get anyone else to do the writing I'm happy to give it a shot, I'll have to do lots of background research though :/

Jubal

Tom: It shouldn't need any research. It's mostly just getting the descriptions so they don't repeatedly reference the Romans.  :P

Ta-da! If you want to do work either on this or on GoC for traits/ancillaries I can send you the current files :)

Othko97

I would help, but I have my exams in a few weeks so I'm a bit busy :P Not to mention the fact I'm going on holiday soon as well. If this is still going in the summer I can do some building descriptions though, or I could attempt to learn how to change the traits and ancillaries :D.

Tom

I'll see if I have time to help but unfortunately revision and worry extends in to the foreseeable future :(

Jubal

Hm, yeah... revision... I should do a lot more of that.  :P

Going to have a read of this and see if I can get my head round it. Probably easier to start afresh, but if that goes well I might do some GoC stuff too

Right, I think I have some sort of idea, could you send over what you had, or are we working from scratch?

Also, which factions are which culture? Just to make life easier!

Jubal

I'll send you the stuff - PM me your email and I'll email you the faction list and files.  :)

PM sent, look forward to getting started!
