Hello, and welcome to the Indie Alley!

WHAT TO POST HERE
This is for posting about indie game projects, both hobbyist and commercial, it's as simple as that. You can post here to drum up crowdfunding support, ask for reviews or design feedback, or just show off all the work you've been doing and start connecting with and building up a fan base for your game. You can post about other things things that will be of interest to developers too, including programming chat.

The Lab is specifically for games projects that are computer based (aka not tabletop). We'd love to hear about your tabletop & other programming projects, but there are other areas for them as follows:
Tabletop Design & Development: http://exilian.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=180.0
Non-Game Programming Dev: http://exilian.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=15.0
Artwork, Drama, etc: http://exilian.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=61.0
Project management and resources: http://exilian.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=217.0

If you want a subforum here, or to swap links with the Exilian homepage, just get in touch with a member of staff and ask - we're happy to help!

THE RULES

  • Broadly speaking keep it to one thread, one game. If you need more threads, ask for a subforum of your own.
  • If you've got a thread already you can make new threads for large announcements - e.g. a kickstarter campaign or a full game release.
  • If you want more space we're very happy to provide that and more - just ask, as mentioned above.
  • The usual board terms of service apply as normal here: keep things civil, be nice, and that's about all there is to it!

The usual site rules apply here, and penalties may be given for spamming, flaming, hate speech, or illegal activities. All of our moderation decisions are made on a case by case basis, taking into account the context in which things were posted, and most can be appealed via the site's tribunal. Staff can be identified by their coloured names, with a full list available here.

The full Terms of Service can be found here.

Updated because I realised the thread name reflected an older name for this area.
