While I was adventuring, I got my saddle containing the legendary Bard's Gold stolen by a filthy goblin.
It has been my Family Treasure for generations...
I had to get it back at all costs! Giving chase to the burglar, I went through a portal that sent me to this strange world...
I must escape and return the Bard's Gold to where it belongs!

Bard's Gold is a 2d Retro arcade platformer with a small touch of RPG elements,
where the player has to find the key hidden within the level and get to the door in order to progress through the game.

28 levels + 4 Secret levels.
Challenging Boss Fights.
2 Difficulty modes.
Purchase weapons and upgrades at the shop.
Secrets (If I told you it wouldn't be a secret!).
Deadly traps.
Controller support

More Weapons.
More Items.
More Enemies.
Achievements.
More Secrets... (Shhhh!).

If you would like to support us, please vote for us on greenlight :)

I don't have steam  :( Will it be available in not-Steam format? (I'm going to have to buckle and get it one of these days just to vote for greenlights...)

How much plot will there be in the game - are you keeping it to mostly being quite pared-down pure gameplay, or will there be a stronger storyline running through? :)

Also, welcome to Exilian! I'm one of the admins here, just message me/ anyone else with a funny-coloured name if you have questions.

If you want to introduce yourself on a personal level, you might want to take a look at the Welcome Hall: http://www.exilian.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=2.0
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Hello Jubal!

Yeah it's will be available in  format. There will be a storyline but not a strong one, just to explain why he is there :)

Clockwork

Are you anti-steam or something or just haven't got it yet?

This pretty much looks like a copy of Shovel Knight. Should do well then I guess.
Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the Comedian is the only thing that makes sense.
