Hey guys. Joined just to post about this-- how would I properly do this in steam if possible? I extracted the file to the Rome Total War Gold folder, so that seems to be correct... but when I get a shortcut (both by steam and by right clicking the program itself) and attempt to enter in the -mod:WHTW it just says invalid target... not sure what to do.

Thanks

I don't use steam, but here's a link to someone else explaining how they did it:

Does that help?
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Hmm yep it works. Got it after some scrounging around, thanks.

That's how you launch it from Steam. If you would like to make the "WHTW" shortcut to work, this is how I did it.

Right click - Properties - Shortcut

Set "Target": "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Rome Total War Gold\RomeTW.exe" -enable_editor -mod:WHTW -show_err   or where ever your RTW.exe is.
Set "Start in": "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Rome Total War Gold" or where ever your RTW folder is.

After that you should be able to use the shortcut provided in the Warhammer Total War folder. :)

Hope this helps!
