So lightbulbs are 3-5 minute intros to a subject of your choice - we're going to have at least one half-hour slot of them during the day.

I think we'll take signups beforehand so we can put things on the schedule, with additional free slots sign-up-able on the day itself.

If you want to pitch an idea for such a short talk, do it here - would be great to have as wide and interesting a range as possible!

I'm not sure on my topic yet but I'm thinking Creative Commons.

I'd definitely be up for listening to that :)

My ideas thus far:
- Somali Mythology Introduction
- Forgotten Realms - 3 or 4 1 minute intros to historical civilisations you've probably never heard of
- How can games help academics?

Don't know if any of those would appeal...?

I can talk about gamification or choice in games?

Gamification could be a nice one, I think.

I think ideally we shouldn't have more than 1 talk each per half-hour slot. We could put in a second half-hour slot if we fill the first one, though.

Makes sense, people don't really want to be listening to one person non-stop...

There we go. Written mine. It's a primer on UK IP law. That probably sounds intensely dull but with any luck my charm and charisma will keep the camera awake (and the audience if there is one).

Now to rehearse it!
