Event list/suggestions

Please suggest events! Especially suggest ones you would be willing to take part in. I feel we should have about 50/50 competitive VS judged, ideally. Aim should be a longform/rough list at this stage which we'll whittle down. I've also posed questions about some things which answers to would be good. Even if you already see an event, please say if you might consider competing in it so we don't list too many things that could end up as one-competitor flops.

RTW 10,000 - what other TW events? Doubles RTW? Should we have anything from the more modern games?

Scrabble
Catan? Carcassonne?

Judged
Screenshots - if so what sorts?
Poetry - any other writing?
Sculpting? Mini Painting? Art? How should we split these?
Slam poetry and storytelling - maybe 2 or 3 events here, not sure

I'm in for RTW, chess, scrabble, maybe screenshots, and art.

I'd maybe be down for chess or Catan. I am also down for competitive Cards Against Humanity, but that's a less serious suggestion


As for writing, maybe flash fiction (generally accepted as 1000 words, can be even more constrained) around a theme?

Flash fiction is a good call, though I want a ban on old fashioned fonts in publicity material to make sure nobody can read the F as an S. That would go badly.

Any other thoughts? 0AD maybe so there's an RTS in the mix? Are there any of our own games/projects that would be suitable? Is there any modding/gamedev we can add?
