New computer obtained! I now have a secondary, much smaller/lighter laptop, which given the amount of travel I'm doing will be very helpful - it's literally half the weight of my other one so much easier to just chuck in a bag and take to places :)

And so a new era of modding begins! ;)

I've been pretty sick after the New Year celebrations and it seems like I caught a flu.
Not weird at all though, as everyone seems to be sick these days including my whole family.

That also gave me a chance to go through all three season of The Last Kingdom.
I like the story and the characters, but I have to agree about the costumes.
Most of them make absolutely no sense, being leather cuirasses and loose chain mail aventails dangling around on top of clothes being more of hindrance rather than having any actual use.

Also what the heck happened to those viking swords?
There are numerous instances in the series in which men get themselves stabbed by completely blunt swords with rounded tips.
Why would you even make a weapon which has such an obvious flaw? Is is because people usually tend to be misinformed about swords and assume that's what actual combat-ready swords looked like? The only reason for that is safety during historical reenactment.

You're over analyzing, Wolfer. ;) At least it's not nearly as bad as something like 300 gave us. lmao

I am wondering if my modding days are over - I've not really done any in a while. That said, my next standalone game will appear in closed beta in the next few weeks :)

A classic.

Reminds me of everything I do, especially the relationships.

In other news, this is apparently my 3000th Exilian post. Thanks for all the fun (yes, even zapping the spambots and doing the accounts :) ) and here's to the next 3000.

Jubal

Congrats! We'd be giving you triumph points if we still did those :P

I note you're also now Exilian's ninth highest poster, and only 500 posts shy of the top five! (Though Cara is also storming very fast towards the top ten, so may overtake you on the way somewhere...)

First post of February! Even though it's still January here. :P

Jubal

We should probably change the thread title, we've had this one about a year. Any ideas? :)

I understand it because khan introduced me to The Big Lez Show and The Mike Nolan Show. :)
