Has anyone else started one?

Basically XKCD 1663 is a little game where you can set lights, their angles and temperatures, and look at what grows beneath them (though you have to leave it quite a while before items start appearing). You can then save a link and check back on it at another time :)

I've made a shared Exilian one here, so feel free to go muck around with it or observe what we've grown so far:

I came across this thread, somewhat randomly, and decided to have a look at what was happening eight months on. We have some cacti (saguaro?) and vaguely wombat-like things, a duck in a birdbath with a dead tree (?), and some XKCD people.

I think those are meant to be tortoises, though I may be wrong...

That's more plausible, given the presumably desert conditions, though it's hard to tell from the roughly ovoid silhouettes with little sticking-out bits.

I can't seem to edit the old garden any more.

I've made a new one with more temperate lighting here: http://xkcd.com/1663/#12632382-dcd9-11e6-8001-42010a8e000a

Oh wow, I've never seen this before but it looks really really cool

I'm not sure these are working properly any more, the last ones I did don't seem to have grown at all. :/ Was a cool concept though.
