Actually, it's not a rip off. It was made by the same team which split into two parts.
And it's cool, but unfortunately I don't have enough free time to play it.

Almost forgot. I've tried World of Battles and it seems like an OK-ish game for now...

But I've only played it for like 10 minutes (too busy to play atm). I need to play it more to form a real opinion.

Thanks mate Nice to see familiar faces again.

I found AirMech a while ago... it's almost like SupCom, but free and with a few more RPG elements (it's a lot more focused on your character). I personally found it too attention-demanding, at least for me: I couldn't concentrate on giving orders to my units (on my opinion, the system is very clunky, I couldn't figure out how to give them to more than one unit) and controlling my mech at the same time, and it was too fast for me to attempt to do both a the same time (I rage quitted after one minute of real gameplay). However, other people might like it, the idea is quite original, and it looks and feels good. And besides, who doesn't like freeware?
