Yes, its during a bet with Orik and another dwarf that humans only have 5 toes.  In brisingr, while running to trongheim with Nar Garaos...(can't spell it) we learn that urgals have 7 toes as well, but I like the goat feet thingy too

well for the 7 toes it'll be done with the texture since the foot mesh is "toeless" :p.
also maybe some elven armores ? :

Have you tried white plate with gold chainmail? I think that would be cool.

I also think the plate should be thinner/tighter(I'm not sure which would make more sense) . That's just my opinion. I just imagine elves with thin, highly decorated armour.

yeah sure I'll try it.
can you guys post some IC's original crests if they exists, in order to create banners & uniform armors for each faction.
if there isn't Ill create some & then vote on which to use.
