Saints Cyril and Methodius on an illumination from the Rus' Chronicle, via the Encylopaedia of Ukraine. That time of year has come round again - it's the feast day of Cyril and Methodius, Apostles to the Slavs, known for their work as diplomats and linguists. We celebrate it on Exilian every year as an alternative Feb 14 festival of writing, languages, communication and learning. We encourage donations to international learning charities on Feb 14, and for you to enjoy reading, language learning, or finding a linguist to tell how much you appreciate them.
