If you did it though you'd have to do the faction splits... an Al-Kharid troop tree and whatever the other nations are called...

I just think there are better worlds that also haven't had mods set in them.

Good point... you can lock this thread then. majority rules that most people don't want mod/don't know runescape.

I suspect the former is the case. Considering that Runescape pulls in about 2 million members, there will be very few people who have the internet and haven't heard of Runescape.
