Are you looking forward to Shogun 2: Total War?

Nah.

Would be all like "FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCK YEAH!!" if it was R2:TW. But Shogun. Samurai.
Nah. Could test it one time. But will not be addictive.

Are you kidding? I was hooked on the original, and I'm seriously looking forward to this one. R2TW would have been nice, but not so great, since RTW is still going strong with mods and whatnot.

But. Better graphic in R2TW. S2TW, the. Samurais, loved them back in 7th grade, but still. Vikings beat them.
So Medieval 3 Total War will be horse raping!

I'll try the demo and see if it's interesting... The thing is that I don't like samurais...
Also I don't like 18th.-19th. century stuff at all and that's the main reason why I haven't played Napolen and Empire (not even demos)...

Fair enough, stay with M2. It's not all samurais though you know. :P

Yea, the promise of more in-depth characters will be great for fantasy mods.  :D

Well for one my ever obsoleting machine, which leads into a lack of funds for such pursuits. Plus I don't find myself playing many games for extended periods of time any more.  :-/

So that's just games in general then, not just S2TW. :P

You could say that I guess. I just don't feel compelled to get the "latest and greatest"

I'm not compelled to get it BECAUSE it's the latest and greatest, and I'll check some reviews first... I like the sound of a "back to basics" ethos with it though.
