Have a safe journey, and a wonderful time while you're over here. For London, the forecast temperatures look to be between 50F and 63F, with brisk winds, so maybe 5F windchill. Nothing compared to an Ohio winter, of course! But you will need the waterproofs if you're going outside at all - there's intermittent rain all weekend

And I have my own "being away" post - I will be away from Saturday morning (11 October) for a week. This time I am heading mostly south, for a tour of Sardinia. I think there's a reasonable chance of me finding WiFi, so I'll probably be dropping in here occasionally.
