Rise of Persia:rtw:This mod focuses on the rise of the Achaemenid Persian Dynasty, from 559 to 490 BC.
Sparta: Total War III:rtw::bi:Can you be the dynamic leader who takes Sparta to its full potential?
Strategos: Total War:rtw:A mod based on Roma Surrectum that will take place in Classical Greece between the years 500 and 150 BC.
The Greek Wars:rtw:A mod influenced by a group story of the same name in the .Com’s Fan Fiction section.
Troy: Total War:bi:With units inspired by the movie 'Troy', this mod depicts the time of the trojan wars and civil wars within Greece.
Warlords of Sparta:alex:Inspired by the legend of Leonidas and the brave 300. You can control a 'Spartan' led Greek alliance in a war to liberate Greece, or bring the children of Hellas to heel leading the dark forces of the Persian Empire!

The Hellenistic Period:

:alex:  Diadochi: Total War   This mod gives depth and accuracy to Diadochi factions, focusing on the era between the rise and fall of the successor states around 305 BC - 147 BC. Based on DimeBagHo's legendary XGM 3.
:alex:  Megas Alexandros   Relive the campaigns of Alexander the Great; Become Darius and defend your empire from the Greeks; Take control of a faction and forge your own path to greatness.
:rtw:  The Hellenic States THS is an advancement of an earlier mod, Pyrrhic Victory, and focuses now more on the fragmented states that arose after Alexander's Empire broke apart after his death.
 
The Roman Period:

:bi:  58BC: Caesar Imperator   Sets the player in the struggle for power in the last days of the republic. A Fall of the Republic - Rise of the Empire (FRRE) mod.
:bi:  77BC: Twilight of the Repubic   Focuses is on the pending power struggle in Rome in which you can have a hand in or sit back & watch as they destroy themselves. A Fall of the Republic - Rise of the Empire (FRRE) mod.
:rtw: :bi:  Ancient Empires Elysium   Features a totally new Auxilia system, Roman Military Reform system, and many completely new units.
:rtw:  Augustus: Total War   Play as Augustus in 2 different campaigns: One as the Emperor and another in the civil war as he became emperor.
:rtw:  BareBonesWars   A total conversion which combines unique strategic challenges due to a 4 Season scripted campaign from 280 BC - 180 AD on a big map and with an ruthless AI on the battlefield. It includes many new units and ideas from members of the TW community.
:rtw:  Casus Belli   An Italian made major mod that includes reskins for all factions and numerous other improvements to the game.
:rtw:  DarthMod   This mod uses unique ideas and greatly accepted techniques for a competitive AI behavior especially in the tactical battlefield. With the contribution of many great skinners, it evolutes to a true enhancement of RTW vanilla version game.
:rtw:  Europa Barbarorum   This Trivium project is designed to be the definitive full conversion historical modification project for the global RTW community.
:bi:  Extended Cultures   A full modification based on XGM designed to bring a richer gameplay experience through expansion of factions' cultural identities.
:rtw:  Extended Greek Mod   This mod aims to give the Greek factions the same sort of depth that the Roman factions have in vanilla RTW.
:rtw:  Historical Rome Total War   The aim of this mod is to "upgrade" vanilla RTW.
:rtw:  Iberia: Total War   This mod is dedicated to recreating the conquest of Hispania by the powers of the mediterranean sea and his fights against the natives of Iberia in the period beetwen the 270 BC and 16 BC.
:bi:  Imperator II   A Roman Campaign mod based on Rome: Total Realism and is intended to make the Roman campaign harder, features named and numbered Legions.
:bi:  Imperial Crisis: Total War   This mod takes back Barbarian Invasion to the timeframe of the Imperial Crisis of the Third Century in which the Roman Empire split into three seperate entities; the Gallic Empire in the west, the Palmyrene Empire in the east, and the Roman Empire proper smack in the middle.
:bi:  Invasio Barbarorum   This is a series of Mods for BI focusing on the late Roman Empire: from Aurelian to Justinian, from 270 AD to 527 AD, through 250 years of chaos, and the Fall of Rome, bringing about a Dark Age in the west.
:rtw:  Macedon Expansion   The major aim of this mod is to restore historical justice, to add balance to the game and give more adequate possibilities to the Kingdom of Macedon and other Hellenistic factions.
:bi:  Paeninsula Italica   A historical mod, with the time frame of 338-222 BC, which aims to recreate the great struggles for the supremacy of Italy.
:rtw:  Punic: Total War   A mod focused entirely on the Punic wars between Carthage and Rome, from 280 BC to 146 BC.
:rtw:  Pyrrhic Victory   This mod adds the faction of Epirus to the game, changes Egypt to the Ptolemaic Kingdom, and merges the Romans into one faction.
:rtw:  Res Bellicae   A mod focusing on the 600 years between 530 BC and 108 AD, featuring three campaigns covering the Greek wars against Persia, Rome's rise to power in the Italian peninsula, and an imperial campaign seeing the roman expansion in the world, along with a lot of reforms, new skins, new music and buildings for all factions and never seen before game scripts.
:rtw:  Res Gestae   A modification for Rome Total War starting at the beginning of the Second Punic War and taking Rome to the height of her Imperial glory! It aims to improve graphics, historical authenticity and gameplay equally as well as being well-balanced.
:rtw:  Roma Surrectum   Meaning "Rome Arises" is a full conversion for RTW 1.5, featuring 35 legions.
:rtw:  Roma Vice: Total War   Roma vice was made to be a mod set in original time period of vanilla but to provide a different experience to other mods. It provides a superior historical overview with vastly improved units, realistic animations, brand new terrain graphics and textures, new map, and new aor system.
:rtw:  Rome: Total Realism   The mod that makes Rome: Total War more realistic.
:rtw:  Sicilia   Focuses solely on the struggle for the island of Sicily during the 3rd century BC.
:rtw:  SOTK's Spain Mod   Son of the King's mod re-vamping the Spanish faction in RTW with new troops, and modifying other aspects of the vanilla game.
:rtw:  Spartacus: Total War   Focuses on the gladiator uprising lead by Spartacus and the many events taking place at that time.
:rtw:  SPQR: Total War   A total modification for R:TW. The changes encompass all areas of gameplay with added focus on the Roman military machine and the system of recruitment and training of both pre-Marian units and Legions. Special care has been given to the battlefield experience which features the longest battle times of probably any existing mod.
:rtw:  Terrae Expugnandae   This mod aims first and foremost to enhance the gameplay and look of RTW without radically changing the underlying system.
:bi:  The Fall of Rome   A mod for Barbarian Invasion focusing on the 375-476 AD interval.
:rtw:  The First Triumvirate   Take command as Caesar, Crassus, Pompey, Vercingetorix or Orodes in the waning days of the Roman Republic. Includes 5 campaigns.
:bi:  Vlad: Total War   Created by Vlad, a unique experience with many re-texured units and historical units, a complete conversion of Rome:Total War, focusing on the balance of fun, uniqueness, units and accuracy!

The Dark Ages:

:bi:  Ages of Darkness II   Following the collapse of the Western Roman Empire late in the previous century, Europe fractured into many small Germanic Kingdoms, which competed fiercely for land and wealth.
:bi:  Arthurian: Total War   Focuses on Northern Gaul and Britain starting in 481 AD and ends in the VIIIth or late VIIth century.
:bi:  Norman Invasion   It is AD 1066 and the forces of King Harold of England and Duke William of Normandy have met at Hastings to do battle for the Crown of England. The fate of Britain now lies in your hands...
:bi:  Ruins of Glory   Starting in 476 AD, based on Rio's IBFD, with 7 new factions, it is focused on the western half of the empire. Play as Julius Nepos and return the glory of the empire or with Odovacer build up a new romano-barbarian empire!
:bi:  Viking Invasion II   This mod aims to recreate the campaign of the cult-status MTW: Viking Invasion on the Rome BI engine. It sticks closely to the original campaign, only making changes to correct large inaccuracies, to improve gameplay and comply with the new engine.

The Middle Ages:

:bi:  Battles of Kingdoms   A mod based on the Medieval Era, featuring highly detailed graphics.
:rtw: :bi:  Chivalry: Total War   This is the original and famous total conversion of the Rome: Total War engine: simulating the High Middle Age of Anno Domini 1072 - 1222.
:bi:  Crusader: Total War   Focuses on Medieval times warfare.
:rtw:  Rome Medieval   A full conversion for RTW, focusing on the rise of the Medieval Kingdoms, through the rise and the fall of the Crusades, continues to the last days of the Medieval age.
:bi:  The Crusades   A total conversion mod that brings the player back to the time of Salah al-Din, Richard the Lionheart, the Kingdom of Jersualem and the Third Crusade.

Post-medieval:

:rtw:  Citadel: Total War   A total conversion mod set right before until right after the Renaissance period in Europe, North Africa, and parts of Western Asia.
:rtw:  European Wars   A mod which takes us into the 18th century.
:rtw:  Napoleonic: Total War II   One of the most extensively overhauled and most eagerly awaited Total War mod, focusing in the Napoleonic warfare.
:bi:  Ogniem i Mieczem   (With Fire And Sword) is a major modification focused on events which took place in Eastern and Central Europe in the XVI-XVII centuries.
:rtw:  Pike & Musket   European warfare in the timeframe 1480-1700.

The Far East:

:rtw:  Battles of Asia   This mod is a remake of Shogun: Total War, and will focus on XVI century Medieval Japan's clan wars.
:bi:  Nusantara: Total War   A R:TW BI mod focusing on the western South East Asia Archipelago.
:bi:  Ran No Jidai   This project is designed to be the definitive full conversion historical modification project for the global RTW community to bring back to origins that made famous the Total War series: Shogun: Total War.
:bi:  Three Kingdoms   Ancient China is caught in the flames of war again! Step in the era of the Three Kingdoms and reunite the Empire and create your own dynasty!
:bi:  Zhanguo : Total War   It is an era where a unified Empire would emerge. It is an era when the scholars of war who would be remembered in history. It is an era of war. This is the Warring States of China. Zhanguo is based on the Three Kingdoms mod.

Aristeia: Total War:alex:This is a vision of the Trojan War era and is based on the famous story from the epic cycle from which the Iliad has secured its place among the most important works in western literature.
Battle for Antares IV:rtw:This mod converts RTW to a whimsical sci-fi mashup setting where redshirts fight browncoats, mad scientists fight aliens, and lizard-people fight giant robots.
Blue Lotus:rtw:Blue Lotus is a fantasy mod derived from the history and mythology of China, Japan and India. The map is a distorted map of Asia which is being encroached upon from the west by a huge force of demons and mythological creatures.
End of Days:bi:The rise of the satanic nation of Magog. Set in the dark ages this fantasy mod will give players a chance to battle with or against the forces of evil, Factions include; Four Christian, Islam and the Buddhist warriors of the Shambhala.
End of Days II: Lycan Rising:bi:Vampyre vs Lycan vs Human, a fantasy mod based on a titanic struggle between the night breeds. Three brothers bound by a dark and ancient bloodline clash in a war of destiny.
Fourth Age: Total War:rtw: :bi:The aim with FA:TW is to accurately portray the lands and peoples of Middle-earth as the team imagine they might have existed approximately two centuries into the Fourth Age.
Gods & Fighting Men:alex:An official submod of Arthurian: Total War set in an ancient and mythical Ireland.
Lord of the Rings: Total War:alex:A Total conversion for Alexander based on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which allows the player to replicate the epic battles seen in the movies.
Middle-Earth: Total War:bi:The mod starts in the year 2954 of the Third Age, approximately 64 years before the events of 'The Lord of the Rings'.
Narnia: Total War:rtw:A mod project that attempts to put C.S. Lewis' fantasy universe of Narnia into the Rome: Total War engine.
Return of Atlantis:rtw:Return of Atlantis is a modification for Rome: Total War 1.5 which adds a vanilla-esque faction of Atlantis to the game. Little to nothing else about the original game has been changed, thus preserving the classic experience that is Rome: Total War.
Title of Liberty: Total War:bi: A modification set in the mythical lands of Zarahemla around 64 BC.
Total War - Orcs & Humans:rtw:A mod project that attempts to put the Blizzard Entertainment's fantasy universe of the original Warcraft game into the Rome: Total War engine.
Valar Morghulis:alex:This mod converts RTW to the setting at the start of the Game of Thrones franchise, with Dothraki, the houses of Westeros, the Night's Watch and more all battling it out for supremacy.
Warhammer: Total War:rtw:A mod project that puts Games Workshop's classic fantasy universe of Warhammer into the Rome: Total War engine.

:rtw:  Europa 270BC   An expanded map for Rome: Total War.
:rtw:  Multi-Mod Sampler   MMS allows you, the player, to experience selected units from top-of-the-range RTW/BI/Alexander mods without having to download them. It also gives you information about the mod, its reputation/success and its web site or forums.
:rtw:  Mundus Magnus   New map expanded to north, south and east, with numerous changes within old area and more or less geographically correct depiction of landscapes and provinces (for 270 BC).

Fixed this, probably not as up to date as it was (but did add Roma Vice), and not as pretty without the little icons... can they be added Marcuses?
