Meanwhile, I'm just about recovered from being ill, which is good; I'm hoping to get on with some Exilian stuff along with tidying my house a bit over the weekend, then start on work properly again (at long last) next week.

Cleveland Cavs won the basketball championship tonight. First time a professional team in Cleveland has won anything since 1964 and that was football. Last baseball championship was 1948.

I was ill for a few days but now I'm better. I bought a very much reduced gammon hock on Saturday which was very exciting, I also had a good weekend for other reasons but gammon hock tho.

Cleveland Indians baseball just won their 14th game in a row, a new record for Cleveland, after a 19 inning game! Baseball usually only lasts 9 innings for those of you who don't know. Since the Cavs won the basketball title it seems that has inspired the baseball guys. A win from them would be magic.
