This won't mean much to some people, but I'll post progress in here.

Today; sorted login and load game function, just need to connect it to SQL table. Savegame function needs writing soon.

Right, economy and population happiness are the next things to focus on. Also naming your city will be added, and some sort of small hiscores table to see who as the biggest/most warlike/richest city, to add a little competition into this...

Tax system is now more detailed. Your taxes depend on your prosperity, which can be increased by traders, or decreased by being raided or having a plague.
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

I didn't notice any thread in which suggestion can be posted, so I'll post my suggestion here, and you move it somewhere if you find it necessary

The thing is that taxes are always collected at the end of the turn and you get some money, and then the raiders attack and take that money away from you. It seems kind of stupid that you can't spend that money on something before the raiders attack.Maybe  you should put the collection of taxes after the ''events'' happen (raider attacks, slave revolts etc..) or as a first thing that happens in a new move.

With raids you now have the option to pay raiders off instead of fighting. Also raiders now tend to be low in numbers, so they are only a problem in the early stages of the game. However, when you pay raiders off you lose both public confidence and prosperity, so think carefully before sending all your money away.

Also, to add a bit of character the raider chiefs now have randomised names (there are 200 different possibilities atm).

Note; ALL NAMES AND PASSWORDS ARE NOW CASE SENSITIVE.

Ones already registered will be all lowercase on the server.
