There don't seem to be too many leads yet, but there is one potential clue. Dantes attacker was wielding a silver knife. Silver ain't a great metal for weapons, but it is traditionally used to kill werewolves. So partly because of that, I'm interested in hearing Dante RC, and also partly as a random vote:

I don't know which it is but it sounds like it is silver and the mention of steel was a slip up.

Hmm Maybe :/ But then again, if Dantes attacker was Stormcloud, then he would of been going out with a silver knife anyways as he is paranoid that everyone is a warewolf.

That is a possibility. But as I say, silver isn't a particularly strong metal, you'd only use it if you had to.

Besides paranoid isn't quite as bad as insane, he was clearly going out with an intention that night.

Hmm... There was a load howl that woke the village. Stormcloud maybe did think Dante/Zephron was a Werewolf. After all, he was in the Militia, so it would have been his job to defend against threats. One of the townies could have found him and stopped him. Dante could then have taken revenge. I agree with Andalus.

As CN2 already said, SC was a paranoid warrior who's main goal was to kill everyone in the village and, because of not knowing who is and who isn't a werewolf he had to use silver weapon...
Anyways, it's just my luck, get saved from serial killer to get lynched because the killer maybe used silver weapon...
