Something a bit random I happened across today: a web version of Spirograph. I had a physical version as a child, but I gave it up before I understood the maths of how it works. Now it all makes much more sense :)
The web version also has the advantages that you don't have to pin pieces down to a board, and you can't accidentally jog the moving gear out of the stationary one!
