The Parthian Uprising-An AAR

Things are a bit quiet around here so I thought Id start a new AAR (My first actually) And if I dont do any updates ANNOY me soo much I have to,I want to finish this AAR.

I will be playing as parthia (duuh) and my aim will be to kill the Greeks,Egypt,Armenia,Pontus,The Seluecids and to capture Rome.

The settings will be:

RTW 1.5 No mods (except britain has uber peasants)
VH/H difficulties
Unit scale: large
Arcade off

So lets get started!

I have one about Irainians                                                        

So here we go.

I start my first turn by abandoning Campus Sakae,its just a waste of money and divides my forces.



Then I move out our spy to seleucia,with an army following.I plan to hit the the Seluecid empire hard and fast. Say hello to Phillip                                                       



I end that turn with a profit off -2000                                                       

Next turn I attack seleucia.We are at war!



They are pretty dumb because they moved out all their army except a general,and the gates have been opened by our spy.Did you ever notice that they have been smashed open? he must have a big hammer with him or something :blink:                                                   




I move in my horse archers to attack the general at the plaza.



He takes the bait and gives chase to 2 horse archers and my general



Now for a classic sandwhich move,I send in my reserve horse archers.The general goes down in a flurry of purple.



Victory!



"Oh look daddy its the Hanging Gardens!" :lol:         



Now I move out our forces to attack the rebel town of Phraaspa,the odds look pretty good                                                       



I set up my men,archers on one side and melee on the other.



What a terrible site this must be to face!



My horse archers are tearing apart the rebels! Its like a grey red carpet for my men.

If you mean unit details ect they are on full,but if something else is better plzzzzzz tell

Thats on full? Doesnt look like it with the pointy legs and such. Just turn up everything you can in the graphics options.

Update time!

Ok so here is the world so far.My army is moving out to take Armenia's capital. And I end the turn.



Good news                                                         Campus Sakae has revolted! That should bring in some money



I end the turn again to make some money and attack,we are at war! I should be able to take the settle ment before another army arrives.



Hmm,an army comes out of the trees to attack me,sneaky armenia :ph43r:



I set up my men,this should be a dodle,I have more horse archers and I move them on either side of the armenians



Some peltasts are lured in,easy targets for my general.



Its the clash of the cataphracts! But who will win?



Bah!  One of my horse archers is chased and taken down by armenia.



Looks like their general made a meal out of my infantry



Fate has been so kind as to let a stray arrow kill the enemy general!



I send my general and cataphracts to avenge my infantry,and they do it very well                                                        The enemy horse archers also join in big mistake!



He goes down in seconds.



The last armenian unit...



Well do I need to explain?  Victory! A heroic one too                                                       



My next seleucid target... *evil thoughts*



Oh so thats what happens when you cant get in... damn,now I need to build another ram



Well thats the and of that update,I leave you ending that turn and with a pretty picture of my empire

Interesting AAR you have there. Parthia have always been my favourite faction, so I like seeing them conquer!
