Did you know that Winnipeg's Union Station was built by the same architects who designed New York's Grand Central Terminal?

No, I didn't (thanks for the information), but it doesn't surprise me - a lot of major North American railway stations were rebuilt on a grand scale in the early 20th century, and the railway companies will have tended to pick architects on the basis of their previous work.

Tusky

I guess you could say those architects had a winning approach to station construction!

Indeed - I'm sure there would have been some sort of competition involved, probably more difficult to win than this one.

Tusky

Well I doubt any train architects are posting here. Maybe the reason for that is that they do find it difficult?

Glaurung

Could be. Fortunately, I do find it easy to post here :)

Tusky

I wonder if you will find it easy to post here, in Winnipeg...

I hope so - I'm sure they must have internet connectivity there too.

And again! So much win, so easily achieved :)

Tusky

I win this time though

Glaurung

So you do - but for how long?
