I think something like managing to catch a buttered piece of toast that had been knocked from the table before it topples to the ground - inevitable butter side down.

I thing getting one congratulation for that would be fair.

I think it would depend on the consequences of the toast landing on the floor. There might be a priceless antique carpet there; it could even trigger an investigation by the insurance police. Surely that's worth more than a single congratulation?
