I used to have a train set & loved the little steam locmotives. They look a lot nicer than a lot of modern trains!

I have a feeling more data might be desirable. Fortunately (?), I have an opportunity to test this, with several hours' rain predicted today.

Yes it would be good to report your findings.

Should we include mine? That 100% of the rainy AND rain free days for the last 8 years or so have been steam locomotive free. Then there was 1 rain free day with a locomotive, then a further decade or so without.

Hmm. On that basis the rain/loco correlation may not be reliable. Which may be a good thing.
