Yes, that would be another inflected form that "win" doesn't have.

A major Canadian city, in the middle of the prairies. I've no idea who goes there on holiday.

It's the HQ city for at least one major international insurance corporation. And its name contains the word win.

No, only that my actuary friends who work for said company live in fear of "Winnipeg" and any questions it might ask them about how they've valued insurance risks.

I live in constant fear of questions Winnipeg may ask of me.

Do you have any other info about Winnipeg?

Once again, I am awed by your knowledge of others' holiday habits - I find it hard enough to keep track of my own holidays.

Not really, though I've occasionally looked at it as it's a major stop on the train route across Canada.

Is that a trip you are planning? And how did Winnipeg fare in your plans if so?

Less planning, and more idly musing about. Winnipeg would be a stop-over, partly because I don't want to spend three consecutive nights on the same train if I'm going from Toronto to Vancouver, and partly because Winnipeg is the junction between the trans-continental east-west route, and the north-south route leading to Hudson's Bay.
