I finally got a chance to make that character and went with a male Argonian named Saul. As soon as he escaped from Helgen he went to Windhelm, having heard that someone there needed an assassin. Approached Aretino and masqueraded as an agent of the Dark Brotherhood in order to obtain a contract.

Then caught a carriage to Riften and performed the murder of the woman running the Honourhall orphanage. While in Riften he did some jobs for the Thieves Guild and is now a member, but will be heading back to Windhelm soon to report the completed contract.

Another must have for me though is one which makes Iron and Leather/hide upgradable the same way other materials are with perks. It's how I keep using leather armour/iron weapons/long bow at every level.

How does that work? Surely even though you could get it to legendary it'll still be a much lower rating?

one of my favourite mods

Clockwork

Yeah it'll be worse than a legendary smith'ed dragonbone weapon, but it still remains good enough to kill anyone I encounter; without the mod upgrading is only half as effective so you lose a lot of damage/armour.

Ah I see, I realised I'd been using many smithing enchantments so they were hitting legendary anyway. I prefer Stalhrim anyway, it's pretty and shiny and blue

Silver Wolf

I've used Volendrung through more than a half of my game with my Nord character (heavy armor, 2h weapons).

The absorb stamina enchantment on that thing turns your character into a berserker locked in perpetual power attack motion.
And it also swings as fast as a greatsword.

So, I've been playing this lately with 140+ mods, runs alright too. :)

He is Jubal the modder, Jubal the wayfarer, Jubal the admin. And he has come to me now, at the turning of the tide.

Lady Grey

I was very much late to the party with Skyrim, but, in my defence, I only got a decent enough laptop to run it in Summer 2014.

Very much addicted to it.

Gmd

Skyrim was great. Loved it played everything there was to do on it but never went back to it after i completed it, purely because i had it on console where the loading times are crazy, hopefully ill return when i have a nice pc

Give me my green name back!!! I am always Logothetes

Clockwork

I just got back into it! As always I've neglected to buy a house and so I'm playing a meta game of carrying all of what I need on my back while trying to drop as little as possible while dungeon delving :/

Lady Grey

I have the opposite problem - I feel like I've too many houseswith my current character :/ I got Proudspire Manor first, then Honeyside, then built Lakeview Manor (and it's still not fully furnished), and then I went to Solstheim and got Severin Manor, though the latter is pretty useful and definitely the best organised. I still end up carrying too much though!

I also adopted two children who currently live in my house in Solitude and I was planning to move them to Lakeview Manor eventually - however, if I'm truly roleplaying, it's hardly a safe place for children, given the stuff that keeps spawning outside every time I visit. :P

Clockwork

I've even had a dragon land inside solitude, don't think anywhere in Skyrim is safe :P

Last night I bought a house though,Vlindrel Hall in Markarth and started an epic freeform quest to pick up all the books and have the only complete library in all of Skyrim.

Silver Wolf

I love the book sorting system in Skyrim.
Organizing books , actually, pretty much organizing anything in Oblivion was a grueling task.

The best part was actually succeeding to do so, saving and then seeing everything explode from the shelves the next time you walk into your house. My guess is that all those books, plates and various foods get a bit too excited if you don't visit them often.

Does anyone know if there's a Skyrim mod that adds a load of quests to do with daedra and realms of Oblivion?
I'm so sure I saw a mod review video about it ages ago.

Edit: I think it was mentioned that some fairly well known people in the modding community had collaborated to make it (I really know nothing about Skyrim mods) xD
