Faction Preview:

Mauritania

Although from punnic descendance, the Mauritanian Royal House has long relied on the manny berber tribes that live in its territory for military support.

Hillmen

Desert Axemen

Dismounted Lancers

Mediterranean Infantry

Gaetulian Skirmishers

Berber Archers

Desert Cavalry

Camel Raiders

Lancers

Berber Chieftain

Elephants

Some units may yet be added. I think another infantry unit would be useful...

Once again any ideas, suggestions, comments, etc, will be most welcome.
Will be back soon with more updates.

Not entirely certain about the palm trees on the shield, but otherwise excellent work...

I think that Mediterranean Infantry are too much Roman like.. But everything else looks cool.

I'm not certain about the Mediterranean Infantry either... I mean, I want to give the Mauritans a more eastern type of infantry, to reflect the roman influence and such, but I guess I'll re-think them.

Just change the armor if you can .... that lorica segmentata armor should be roman only ...

That's not lorica segmenta, it is the armour from Poeni Infantry (I've done too much skinning not to recognise these things :p).

My advice would be to remove the crescent from the shoulders, and change the skin colour and face so it looks more African (You could just copy and paste it from a Libyan/Numidian/Eastern unit). The palm trees look good from a distance, but when you're close enough to see what they are, not so much.

Hi all. Here's a new update for you.

These are the Lybian mercenaries. They come to fill the complete lack of infantry mercenary options in Western Africa, Lybia, Cyrenaica and maybe Egypt.

And also, the new version of Mediterranean Infantry.

You know the drill, comment, suggest, etc :)

Mediterranean Infantry looks great now and those spearmen are great too....

Just to let you know I have not stop working on the mod. But these last few days have been crazy for me so I haven't updated here.

I've been working on some celtic units for Iberia and some skinning for the gladiators. I'll post a preview as soon as I can.
