Shockingly, I'm not planning to eat any humans. I'm fairly sure there will be plenty of more appealing and less legally and morally problematic foods on offer :)

Indeed I'm hoping to pick Glaurung's brain for recommendations...

I'm glad you qualified that phrase - I'm quite attached to my brain and would very much like it not to be picked, whether for eating or any other purpose.

Yes, I can assure you that is so. As you're in Germany, many of them involve some combination of pork, ham, sausage, cabbage, and potato, but I think Frankfurt is sufficiently cosmopolitan that you'll find other things too.

I am yet to have much Frankfurt food experience still, I am bad at going touristing when already super tired (and my damn wrists seem to be flaring up a bit again after a fairly good couple of weeks) but lidl has at least provided some basics. All hail lidl.

And here's a couple of pictures:

Complete with bonus hoppity crow friend :)

Thankyou! There's another nice squirrel shot to start this next set, I found where its hole was and got a picture of it peeking out :) Also featuring in order: buzzard, jay, wood mouse, and tortoise, all from the parks of Frankfurt :)

I'm trying to switch to yahoo as my default search provider because today google pissed me off with its censored search results while I was searching for examples of jokes.

Oh, what did it censor?

I use ecosia and duckduckgo as my two main search engines usually - ecosia is kinda nice in that it's eco-friendly, DDG is quite privacy centric.

Happy indie day :)

I have finished four very hectic days of medieval-ing and am now v sleepy. It was good though!

This looks amazing. Nastalgia and actual footage just like the first one. Heavy breathing.

Who should I interview next for Exilian Articles? Ideas welcome :)

Meanwhile, I plough through much much paperwork. Submitted more than fifteen different bits of documentation this week to help claim the 1500+ euros that my university owes me, some of which is unpaid from over a year ago now. And I've got a paper to write which I didn't know about in advance, because they didn't tell us the conference was going to do a published proceedings until we were literally at the conference. All rather frustrating and I'm feeling very stressed about it all. :/
