Though have seen something about a geek meet/convention in Cambridge at some point over the summer.

Interesting. They're upgrading in one year from a suburban church hall to one of Cambridge's largest venues. Their website from last year seems not to have been renewed, and they haven't provided any follow-up on the evensi page since October last year.

Yes, they're definitely going for broke (and may end up there)... I may see if I can get in contact with them anyhow, it's generally good to communicate about these things I think. As Mark said, thanks for the link

Bit on the fence about that event, nothing on their FB page since December and an expired website, it would be nice to attend a few smaller events to make up for having to miss out on the UK Games Expo this year.
