Alas, my knowledge of IATA codes extends only to those airports I've used relatively frequently. However, I'm aware that the codes for many Canadian airports start with 'Y', so I'd guess that YWG is Winnipeg - and the closest I've got to there is flying over from Calgary to Toronto.

Anyway, back to more immediate matters: I win!

Tusky

That's some impressive IATA knowledge!

It was indeed Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport. My contribution to the airport chat.

And now I'm about to fly from MAD to STN. Meanwhile, win!

Tusky

Winton in Australia has the IATA of WIN.

I guess that is where I must be from.

I'm sure you would know better than I do.

Meanwhile, now that I'm back on terra firma (very "firma" - probably my hardest ever landing), I can assert once again that I win.

Tusky

Good to have you back atop the podium

I'm impressed this time by your determination in getting up so early to post in this thread.

Tusky

Maybe I don't sleep?

Just win.

That sounds like the voice of exhaustion to me: the body screaming for sleep, but the mind still saying "must... keep... posting..."

Tusky

Does it? I wouldn't know.

Winston Zeddamore. What a ghostbuster.

So I see. Thanks once again for expanding my knowledge.
