The Seamstress

Tiddlywinks, just because the name sounds funny.

Spend a whole year in Vienna's past: 1860 or 1820?

Jubal

1860, on a whim.

Suddenly change your nationality to Bhutanese or to Bruneian?
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

The Seamstress

Bhutanese.

Have a second identical item of clothing to every item of clothing you own, or have the groceries you buy duplicate as soon as you store them in the fridge?

Jubal

Duplicate clothing would save me a lot of money, duplicate food would mean a lot more spoiled food, so clothing wins easily

Witchcraft or Sorcery?
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

The Seamstress

Don't really know the difference tbh (is there one?), I guess witchcraft?

Have the ability to see and walk through walls, or the ability to summon a forest around you wherever and whenever you want?

Jubal

Yes and no - I mean, there's no strict formal difference beyond "witchcraft is done by witches", though particular games or settings sometimes do use these things to create subdivisions. It's more the difference in associations with the words.

I feel like forest summoning is much more my thing... but also much more destructive and kind of risky, I wouldn't want to suddenly kill a bunch of people because trees shot up in front of their cars or anything. So I probably sadly have to go for the former as it's more controlled.

Wear a crown/circlet/tiara at least five days a week, or wear a headscarf at least five days a week? You can pick your designs, styles etc at will.
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

The Seamstress

Crown/circlet/tiara! :arwen: I think I really need to get some of those IRL.

Travel back in time and talk to J.R.R. Tolkien or to Terry Pratchett?

Jubal

Really difficult! For an interview, Tolkien, for a chat, Pratchett.

Be present at the funeral of Julius Caesar or at the birth of Catherine the Great?
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

The Seamstress

I wouldn't really want either tbh... but I guess Caesar, at least I'd learn something about Ancient funeral rites.

Become a really good cook or a really good barber?

Jubal

Cook, absolutely.

Befriend Captain Birdseye or Captain Pugwash?
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

The Seamstress

Had to google them both, turns out Birdseye is the same as Captain Iglo (as he is known here)... I guess I'll befriend Captain Birdseye/Iglo then, he has the food I want.

See or be seen?

Jubal

See, being seen sounds terrifying.

Have a very gothic aesthetic bun or a very pastels and cupcakes aesthetic bun?
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

The Seamstress

Hm... my aesthetic is something in between those two, but I guess I lean more towards the pastels and cupcakes at the moment!

Be a gardener or a farmer?

Jubal

Gardener.

Be a dancer or a flautist?
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

The Seamstress

Realistically I could do neither, wishful thinking says dancer.

Cupcakes or bundt cake?
